The island of Brač is the biggest island of medieval Dalmatian island group, and the third largest among the Adriatic islands. Its coast is 1200 kilometers long and contains about 950 islands in the archipelago. In Dalmatia are settled the two biggest Croatian lakes, protected natural and nature parks, secured cultural and historical places. The mild Mediterranean climate has wealth influence on the plant, animal and herbal land cover. It has fertile land and developed agriculture, especially the production of vine, olive oil and cheese. The old culture and tradition has remained and therefore has been well preserved to symbolize the history as once was.
